HIGH-END COLLECTION

-

Progress is well underway onsite at The Domain Collection, a luxurious two-building development on a north-facing site directly across the road from the Auckland Domain.

Developer Andrew Lamont says: “We’re thrilled to have this iconic development underway, and to see how strongly buyers are attracted by this fantastic location with

75 hectares of domain right on its doorstep. “The Domain is a great part of the city filled with walking tracks and nature; an active playground for sports and events. While this is a very high-end development, there are plenty of mid-market opportunities within it, from $1m up.”

Architects Warren & Mahoney designed the apartments, featuring materials such as concrete and wood to connect with the natural environment.

The five-storey front building with

33 apartments, The Park Residences, involves a total rebuild and extension of Carlton Gore Road commercial building Fidelity House.

A secret garden, envisaged by landscape designer Philip Smith of O2 Landscapes, will link this with a second six-storey new building, The Garden Residences. It will offer 32 apartments.

“The Park Residences will have extraordinary views across the park to the museum. The Garden Residences occupy the depth of the building, so every residence there will enjoy north-facing views over the garden courtyard and they will have views in the other direction, over Newmarket towards Mount Eden.”

Apartments are being sold off-the-plans with pricing which includes basement car parking.

One-bedroom apartments are starting from $1 million, two bedrooms from $1.525m, three bedrooms from $2.65m and four-bedroom residences from $5.9m.

Within these configurations some apartments come with media rooms complementing their main living-diningkitchen area. Others include multi-purpose rooms which owners can use as a second living area or office.

“So people can be confident of the financial strength of the developers behind this project.”

Many of the spacious apartments in The Domain Collection include butlers’ pantries.

Of the four luxurious penthouses in The Park Residences, which feature builtin outdoor kitchens on their terraces, two have already sold.

The two now available include a twolevel 300sqm penthouse with three car parks, contained within a private parking garage, and two impressive terraces totalling 63sqm admiring the Domain.

“We’re very happy with our sales to date, which account for more than $50 million of sales across both buildings and across a range of different typologies.”

Builders GN construction have stripped Fidelity House back to its core concrete structure and are about to start piling works for the new building behind it.

Lamont and his brother Tim have completed several developments in the past, such as the award-winning SKHY and Fabric of Onehunga, as Lamont & Co. They now have Australia’s Icon Developments as a key funding partner.

This development is by Precinct Properties Residential as last year the Lamonts joined forces with NZX-listed Precinct. Precinct are the largest owner and developer of premium inner-city real estate in Auckland and Wellington, with completed projects including Auckland Central’s Commercial Bay.

“So people can be confident of the financial strength of the developers behind this project.”
