Healthy food at Hobsonville Kitchen
Hobsonville Kitchen Cafe and Eatery opened more than a year ago, and has quickly established a loyal following.
It’s in a superb location at 124 Hobsonville Rd, near Countdown, on the corner opposite the Hobsonville War Memorial Park and playground, with plenty of free parking out front.
With years of hospitality experience between them head chef/owner Joewi Hoerijanto, and his wife Erina, have worked hard to create a welcoming and modern eatery.
Their hard work has clearly been worthwhile as the decor is spacious, clean and contemporary, and the atmosphere is vibrant and bustling. And importantly the eatery has become an integral part of their local community.
The friendly couple, who have six children, previously owned Bolero Tapas Bar in Albany, and Akdeniz Restaurant in Takapuna.
They are supported by a new team who work seamlessly together, with everyone being motivated to provide top quality service for their customers.
The counters are filled with delicious healthy food catering for all tastes and dietary requirements.
They serve amazing gluten-free, dairy- free, vegan and raw options, as well as regular dishes.
‘‘We put a lot of effort into our gluten-free dishes to ensure they taste nice,’’ Erina says.
Hobsonville Kitchen offers the complete package – the food is excellent and the coffee tastes divine. It roasts its own Fairtrade, organic coffee beans.
Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen using only the freshest ingredients. All food is oven baked, and nothing is deep fried.
Hobsonville Kitchen has tables outside, a perfect spot to enjoy a meal on sunny days. Being fully licensed you can sit back and enjoy a drink with your meal.
