FLAX BASSINET

-

I was interested in the solution arrived at to solve cot deaths.

What size bed will be required to accommodate the family?

And babies don’t stay small for long.

The parents could still have the twins close by if a bassinet was placed at the head of the bed. HAZLE BERRYMAN

ELECTION RESULTS

Congratulations to Phil Twyford, Alfred Ngaro and now Golriz Ghahraman of the Greens.

Te Atatu¯ will certainly be spoilt for choice.

There’s no reason now why we cant remedy many issues that we have in our community with so many MPs representing us.

Well that is the hope.

I look forward to holding all three of you to account in the next three years.

PLAYGROUND ARSON

How can people do this?

I feel sorry for the kids when they return to school. FIONA COLEY

People need to channel their energy into building up, not tearing down.

Shame on you.

KAREN JANSSEN

This is disgusting. How would the people feel if their house was burnt down?

It might only be a playground, but the kids and school would feel the same as what you would if someone set your house on fire. I hope they get caught. ANGELA ROWLEY

LINCOLN RD UPGRADE

The upgrade of Lincoln Rd was one of the minor reasons why I moved from Henderson to New Lynn.

I actually think the Lincoln Rd upgrade could be worse than Te Atatu¯ Rd.

Lincoln Rd is one of the busiest roads in Auckland, and is a vital connector road for a hang of a lot of traffic.

If the Lincoln Rd upgrade is going to take two years, I’m so glad I don’t have to drive along it every day (even if it’s not going to happen until 2021).

As for Auckland Transport’s responsibility to rebuild walls, fences and to return landscaping and hedges to pre-roadwork conditions, I am suspicious that there would be an attitude of ‘good enough is fine’ from staff. ADRIAN JENKINS

New Lynn

What’s wrong with Lincoln Rd as it is?

I think that Auckland Transport just want to spend the ratepayers money.

And has this been put out for public discussion.

I drive along Lincoln Rd three or four times a week.

If you widen the road, that just means more cars can fill it just as fast as they finish it.

Just look at the Waterview Tunnel.

FEEDING THE NEEDY

Good on you Lise-Marie.

You have a lot of empathy. I like how you are putting yourself in the shoes of the homeless.

WILLIS ROBERTSON Avondale

Keep doing the good job. God bless you.
