Schol­ar­ship en­tries due

The 2018 Young Artist Schol­ar­ship is get­ting close.

En­try forms and con­di­tions of en­try are avail­able for down­load on­line on the “News” page at www.fin­earts

They are also avail­able on hard copy and able to be picked up from the Fine Arts Whanganui Gallery, 17 Taupo Quay.

Port­fo­lios of work for en­tries will be re­ceived be­tween Novem­ber 9 and 16.

Urge your stu­dents and young artists to keep in mind the dead­lines.

■ Fri­day, Novem­ber 9 — En­tries be­ing re­ceived at the Gallery, 17 Taupo Quay.

■ Fri­day, Novem­ber 16 — Last day for the sub­mis­sion of en­tries.

■ Satur­day, Novem­ber 17 — En­tries will be judged for the Fine Arts Whanganui Young Schol­ar­ship Award.

■ Satur­day, Novem­ber 17-23 — Fi­nal­ists on dis­play for pub­lic vot­ing for the Furnique Peo­ple’s Choice Award.

The gallery will con­tinue to be open while re­ceiv­ing en­tries for this schol­ar­ship ex­hi­bi­tion and will not be clos­ing on Mon­day, Novem­ber 12 and Tues­day, Novem­ber 13.

Fine Arts Whanganui is ex­pect­ing many en­tries and a high stan­dard of art­work.

Fine Arts Whanganui is proud to be host­ing this event and hop­ing as many as pos­si­ble young artists in the Ran­gi­tikei, Ruapehu and Whanganui re­gions will be en­cour­aged to sub­mit their en­tries.
