Scholarship entries due

The 2018 Young Artist Scholarship is getting close.

Entry forms and conditions of entry are available for download online on the “News” page at www.finearts whanganui.com.

They are also available on hard copy and able to be picked up from the Fine Arts Whanganui Gallery, 17 Taupo Quay.

Portfolios of work for entries will be received between November 9 and 16.

Urge your students and young artists to keep in mind the deadlines.

■ Friday, November 9 — Entries being received at the Gallery, 17 Taupo Quay.

■ Friday, November 16 — Last day for the submission of entries.

■ Saturday, November 17 — Entries will be judged for the Fine Arts Whanganui Young Scholarship Award.

■ Saturday, November 17-23 — Finalists on display for public voting for the Furnique People’s Choice Award.

The gallery will continue to be open while receiving entries for this scholarship exhibition and will not be closing on Monday, November 12 and Tuesday, November 13.

Fine Arts Whanganui is expecting many entries and a high standard of artwork.

Fine Arts Whanganui is proud to be hosting this event and hoping as many as possible young artists in the Rangitikei, Ruapehu and Whanganui regions will be encouraged to submit their entries.
