toPreschool while out with her mother and siblings, Seraphina, eight, and Samuel, five, in Los Angeles last week. The surprise reading material comes hot on the heels of news that the A-list couple – who were still forging ahead with divorce just weeks ago – told friends they’ve decided to commit to giving their 12-year marriage another shot.
Jennifer’s slightly rounded tummy did nothing to curb pregnancy speculation, nor did the fact studious Violet was spotted with more reading material about motherhood days earlier. And all of this comes as Ben, who attended the Oscars with his sober coach, last week spilled the beans that he’s just completed another stint in rehab for his alcohol addiction.

“I want to live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be,” he declared. “I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step.”
While Ben thanked his “co-parent” Jennifer, “who has supported me and cared for our kids as I’ve done the work I set out to do”, friends say the couple are privately aiming to be much more than co-parents and are in full marriage-repair mode.
A family insider says, “It’s been 20 months since they announced they had split and neither of them has publicly dated anyone since then. Jen feels she might have finally got through to Ben that she wants to raise her kids with her husband – and not feel that he, himself, is just an overgrown kid.
“Meanwhile, Ben is making a huge effort to come to the party. He really wants to keep the family together. The truth is, Jen has lost a lot of trust in Ben, and she’s hoping and praying that she’s not making a big mistake – but she’s called off the divorce.”
Another well-placed source adds, “They love each other. They also really, really love their kids and those kids love their parents.”
While Jennifer and Ben, both 44, are yet to confirm they’re adding to their brood, our insider reports, “The other night, she met up with some buddies in Beverly Hills and drank mineral water all evening. When her friends asked her about it, she played all coy and said she was on a health kick.
“But it certainly raised a few eyebrows, especially as Jen has made no secret of the fact she wants to be a mum again. It’s just that no-one expected her to have more babies with Ben!”
