Who am I?

-

I was born Peter Hernandez in Hawaii in 1985. Mum and Dad were both performers who toured with a family band, and from an early age, my siblings and I were encouraged to perform. As a result, even before I started school, I was well known in Honolulu for my Elvis Presley impersonations. By the time I was in high school, I had my own band and as soon as I was old enough, in 2003, I moved to Los Angeles to get into the music industry. My break came when I was taken under the wing of a record producer, who mentored me and taught me the art of writing hit records. I went from singing in a covers band to penning songs for artists such as Flo Rida and Brandy. However, I still hadn’t found fame in my own right. That changed in 2010, when I released “Just the Way You Are”, the first single from my debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans. The song and album were a huge success, earning me Grammy nominations and overnight stardom. Since then, I’ve released two more albums, Unorthodox Jukebox and 24K Magic, both of which have spawned numerous hits. Who am I? SOLUTION NEXT WEEK
