She’s a gem

I enjoyed the article on Georgina Beyer ( WD, March 13). I admired her in her roles as a Labour MP and Carterton mayor. Being the first transsexual to hold those positions, she bore the brunt of injustices. But Georgina made a difference in so many areas. I wish her nothing but the best and hope she can enjoy many fulfilling years ahead thanks to her donor friend!
