T he Colgate Get Mouth Fit Campaign is all about helping Kiwis build better oral care habits so everyone can enjoy a healthier, happier smile.

These days getting fit and taking care of your body is a big deal, but taking care of your mouth is just as important. Luckily, brushing with Colgate twice a day is much easier than some of the fitness programmes out there – and it can make such a difference to your life!

IT ALL ADDS UP

“I’ve used Colgate my whole life growing up and I still do today,” says rugby captain Kieran Read. “It’s so important to teach my kids good habits like brushing twice a day,” he says. “That’s why I’ve partnered with Colgate to help spread the message to other New Zealanders.”

Daily brushing habits, flossing, visits to the dentist and replacing your toothbrush regularly all add up to a healthier mouth. And the healthier your mouth is, the better you’ll feel and the more you’ll have to smile about! “Family makes me smile,” says Kieran. “I love seeing my kids smiling and having fun.”

CREATE GOOD HABITS EARLY

As a dad with young kids, getting on board with the Colgate Get Mouth Fit Campaign is “a great fit for me and my family,” Kieran explains. Helping kids build good teeth-brushing habits early in life is key: “Fun toothbrushes certainly have worked for us so far and also routine, making sure we brush before school and before they go to bed,” he says. “I’ve been told I need to floss a bit more so I’m working on that too!”

Is there something you can work on to improve you or your family’s mouth fitness? It only takes a small change to make a big difference! To find out, go online and take the Colgate Get Mouth Fit test at www.getmouthfit.co.nz.
