The Bachelor host gives us the inside scoop
What a ride it’s been at the Bachelorette mansion! We’ve had a shocking elimination twist, a stolen one-on-one date, bucket-loads of tears, not to mention that kiss! Indeed, we were all surprised that the first smooch of the season went to Katey and Lucia, who locked lips in the back row of last week’s scandalous rose ceremony.
So what’s really going on between the 21-year-old besties? Is this a budding relationship? Have the girls forgotten who they are here for? Zac … remember him? Here’s what I know. The pair are completely inseparable in the mansion, with their early alliance and gossip sessions about fellow Bachelorettes causing a little friction at the luxe pad.
But if a romance is truly blossoming, it wouldn’t be the first time in Bachelor history that two contestants have fallen in love. In the Australian series last year, Megan Marx and Tiffany Scanlon shunned Richie Strahan for each other, and confirmed their romance soon after the show wrapped with a series of saucy lingerie snaps on social media.
Could this be the way for Katey and Lucia? I’m not at the house after-hours, but rumours are they spend every minute joined at the hip and seem to only have eyes for each other.
So how long will it last? Handsome Zac is giving out the roses, so he’s the one who can keep them both on the show. But with only one of him, you can understand how eyes might wander ...
