WHAT A CHALMER!

The reality star reveals how Geordie Shore has changed his life … and his liver!

-

We catch up with Geordie

Shore lad Aaron Chalmers to find out the perks of being a reality star.

You were in Aotearoa a few weeks ago! Did you have fun?

Yes, I always have a great time in New Zealand! I was a bit rough on the Monday when I left – I was really hungover.

You get to travel to so many amazing places on the show …

Definitely. If it wasn’t for the show, I would have never gone to Austria, New Zealand or any places like that. I’m doing things that I would never normally do too – like now I can snowboard.

Can you tell us one thing about being on Geordie Shore that would surprise us?

People think it’s a walk in the park, but in the summer, we literally are going for six weeks and we don’t have a telephone – no phones, no nothing. We don’t have a bank card, we don’t have magazines and we’re not allowed to watch telly, so we literally are stuck in a house with nothing. Once they gave us our phones back for an hour and not one word was spoken, so that’s the reason they don’t give us phones.

Do you think you will ever get sick of being on the show?

I’m 30 this year and I did say that when I was 30, I would leave. But now I think maybe two or three more and I’ll bow out to let some fresh, young meat take my place. Someone else can ruin their liver for a couple of years! I’ve always said when I finish

GeordieShore, I’m going to have a year’s detox. I think I deserve it!
