FEARS FOR TWINS AMAL ON BED REST
Docs llay downthe law aftera hospital panic
She’d hoped to continue working right up to giving birth, but highflying lawyer Amal Clooney has been put on strict bed rest after a health scare.
A source close to the 39-year-old beauty, who is eight months pregnant with twins, tells Woman’s Day, “Amal’s had a high-risk pregnancy from the start, given her age and the fact she’s carrying two babies.
“She’s been having weekly scans and checkups, but last week, she had severe pains and high blood pressure, and ended up in hospital. It was very scary for her and George. They were terrified something was wrong with the twins.”
Doctors have told the humanitarian that she must scale back her work and stay in bed for the rest of her pregnancy.
Our source adds, “George has been by his wife’s side constantly and her sister Tala is busy hiring a team of staff for their Oxfordshire mansion – including chefs to provide nourishing food and a personal masseuse.”
George’s mother Nina recently confirmed that he and Amal are expecting a boy and a girl.
