The party never ends for Courteney Cox! After celebrating her 53rd birthday in Hollywood earlier this month, the former Friends actress has finally set a date for her longawaited wedding!
Woman’sDay understands the star and her rocker beau Johnny McDaid, 40, are in the thick of planning their romantic nuptials, which will take place on September 2 at Courteney’s Malibu home.
“They are going to tie the knot at sunset,” a close pal tells us, adding Courteney has been inspired by her gal pal Jennifer Aniston’s low-key backyard wedding to Justin Theroux.
“They are planning a beautiful fireworks display for around 60 guests, but they don’t want any great fanfare. Courteney liked the way that Jen and Justin got married at their home and managed to keep everything very private.”
The bride-to-be has reportedly scoped out her favourite designer Jean-Paul Gaultier for her gown, and asked her former Friends co-stars Jennifer and Lisa Kudrow to be her bridesmaids, along with her 13-year-old daughter Coco.
However, the couple’s imminent spring wedding isn’t the only good news for Courteney and Johnny. In a candid interview last week, the clucky CougarTown star revealed plans to expand her brood.
“I would love to have a baby now,” she says. “I know it’s crazy, but I would. I mean, I could carry someone else’s egg. I may be one of the older people doing it, but I would love to, with Johnny that is.”
