Flirty Kate runs Rife

The actress is kissing up a storm!

Kate Beckinsale looked like the cat that got the cream as she wrapped her arms around her 21-year-old boyfriend Matt Rife during a night out last week.

After the end of her 11-year marriage to director Len Wiseman 19 months ago, the 43-year-old Brit beauty is said to be smitten with her new toyboy, who she’s been dating for several weeks.

But an insider tells Woman’sDay that Kate’s daughter Lily Sheen, who is just three years younger than the aspiring actor, is appalled by her mother’s behaviour and is begging her to break up with the young star. Kate is incredibly close to her daughter – and recently attended her graduation with her ex Michael Sheen – but this has caused a real rift.

“Lily is mortified by her mum’s affair and the way she’s flaunting it,” reports a family insider. “He’s the same age as a lot of her friends and it’s freaking her out that her mum is dating someone 22 years younger! She is desperately hoping it comes to an end soon.” But Kate, who has also been linked

to MadMen star Jon Hamm since her split, is in no hurry to cool the scandalous romance and has told 18-year-old Lily to loosen up.

The brunette beauty and her lover were first seen together on June 21, when they were snapped in the midst of a steamy make-out session outside a Hollywood nightclub. “Kate is absolutely loving all the attention this is getting her and has no intention of hiding away,” says our insider.

“She says it’s like she feels young and free again. She is trying to understand where Lily is coming from, but ultimately it’s her own life and she’s determined to live it.”

Others, however, fear the fling could just be an attempt at revenge on her ex-husband. Although Kate has tried to keep her divorce amicable, she got angry and upset when 44-year-old Len started dating 26-year-old topless model CJ Franco recently.

“Kate feels like CJ is a younger, sexier version of herself, so it really stung,” tells the source. “It’s why Kate decided that two can play that game – and she’s quite happy to flaunt a young hunk in Len’s face! Suddenly, she is starting to feel good about herself again.”
