He’s known around the world as “Hot Felon” but the love life of criminal-turned-catwalk-model Jeremy Meeks is a hot mess!
After being photographed last week cavorting on a luxury yacht with Topshop heiress Chloe Green, the “blue-eyed Bandit” returned to his wife and three kids in northern California to a frosty welcome.
He was spotted carrying his luggage from his car to the front door but his wife Melissa, 38, a nurse, refused to let him into the house they share with their children and were instead seen arguing bitterly in the front yard.
The former gang member and prison inmate was arrested for gun possession in 2014. The California police department described him as “one of the most violent
criminals” in his area. But with his piercing blue eyes and chiselled features, it was his mugshot, posted on social media, that made headlines – rocketing him from the obscurity of his prison cell to worldwide fame overnight. On his release from jail last year, he picked up a lucrative modelling contract and has since been snapped mixing and mingling with a stream of showbiz A-listers. Melissa, who has stood by her wayward husband since they tied the knot in 2009, described her life as “blessed beyond belief” in June this year, but it appears she has changed her tune after seeing the pics of him kissing and cuddling Chloe on the deck of the 54-metre, $200,000 a week charter vessel off the Turkish coast. The hot-to-trot twosome reportedly met at the Cannes Film Festival in May, where Jeremy, 33, was promoting $125 boxer shorts. Heiress Chloe, meanwhile, appeared to be unapologetic as critics took to social media lambasting her for being a homewrecker. She posted a photograph of herself with her new beau with the caption, “Just the beginning. We appreciate all the love and all the hate.” As the daughter of British fashion tycoon Sir Philip Green, 65 – whose empire includes Topshop, Topman and Dorothy Perkins – Chloe stands to one day inherit a slice of her father’s $7 billion fortune. Friends describe her as “the apple of his eye” but it appears Sir Philip may not consider Jeremy, who has also spent time behind bars for grand theft, a suitable partner for his 26-yearold daughter. When asked about the relationship last week, he snapped, “With respect, I am not getting involved in it.”
