Love triumphs! The rugby hunk gets back with his girl
Malakai Fekitoa and Caroline McNaught were known as one of the hottest sports couples until their shock split 17 months ago, at the same time as the All Black admitted publicly to being “ashamed” over mysterious “anger issues”.
And earlier this year, it looked like the hunky All Black had moved on after we spotted him enjoying a river dip in the Waitakere Ranges with a mystery blonde – later identified as surf champ Ella Williams.
But now it appears the handsome heart-throb has reignited his romance with gorgeous Caroline.
We spotted the lovebirds kissing and cuddling last week as they shared a day off before 25-year-old Malakai prepared to face off against the Lions in a thrilling test match at Auckland’s Eden Park.
“It’s clearly back on with a capital ‘O’,” says an onlooker. “They were exceptionally lovely-dovey and it’s such a surprise because as a couple they’ve been through the mill.”
The star centre, however, is obviously not shy of the limelight, posing naked for ESPN magazine’s current Body Issue and appearing in a video, where he runs down the beach with only a rugby ball to cover his modesty (right). And gorgeous South Africanborn Caroline looked thrilled to have her arms back around his chiselled physique.
They happily celebrated Malakai’s unexpected recall to the ABs after Sonny Bill Williams’ suspension, but it was his reunion with business graduate Caroline that Malakai looked most happy about as they strolled arm-in-arm around clothes shops in central Auckland.
