Kim’s diva demands are out of control
Kim Kardashian West’s $1 million surrogate is set to give birth in January next year, but the due date can’t come soon enough for the woman carrying the reality star’s twin babies.
According to our exclusive source, Kim has completely disregarded their agreement allowing her surrogate to enjoy a peaceful pregnancy, and is instead bombarding the Californian mum with constant calls, outrageous demands and insisting she be under 24-hour surveillance.
“She is beginning to regret being her surrogate at all – Kim is driving her nuts,” a Kardashian insider says of the surrogate, who reportedly lives just 30 minutes from Kim’s family home. “She phones and texts her several times a day and night, and drops by her house totally unannounced.
As well as installing a nanny cam so Kim can keep watch, she’s instructing her surrogate to switch to an organic vegan diet. She has also banned her from listening to rap music and watching trashy TV shows where everyone is arguing all the time as it will be too stressful for her tots.”
Worried sick
While the 36-year-old mum loves not being pregnant and is delighted to be avoiding any weight gain, the stress of someone else carrying her twins – which are reportedly a boy and a girl – is destroying Kim, who is mum to North, five, and Saint, one. Her rapper hubby Kanye, 40, has tried to intervene, but the constant strain is causing arguments between the pair.
“It’s a nightmare for her not knowing what’s going on with her unborn children,” explains our insider. “Kanye’s insisting that Kim give the surrogate space, but she’s far more protective than she was when pregnant with her other babies.”
Indeed, the mum-of-two has always been opposed to the idea of someone else carrying her babies, saying, “My biggest fear if I had a surrogate is, Would I love them the same? I keep thinking about it.”
But in the end, Kanye talked her into it. “She would have preferred to have adopted, but Kanye saw that as an affront to his masculinity,” tells our insider.
“He said that using a surrogate would ensure they were his blood children and not someone else’s, so Kim relented. But the truth is, she doesn’t like the idea of her babies being inside another woman’s body. It’s turned her into mumzilla.”
