Orlando gets Katy back, plus Jen’s marriage crisis
An Ed Sheeran concert proved the perfect soundtrack for Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s romantic reunion, with the former lovebirds showing the world they’re giving their relationship another shot at the singer’s Los Angeles gig.
The “Hot N Cold” diva, 32, and the Hobbit star, 40, arrived together on his motorbike, and kissed and cuddled throughout the night, with Katy sitting on his lap. A witness reports, “They definitely seemed like
they’re back together. They looked like they were having the time of their lives.”
The next day, Orlando was pictured swimming at Malibu Beach with a blonde beauty. However, we’re told she’s simply part of his management team and he’s serious about giving things with Katy a second shot.
The superstar couple originally split last February after 10 months together, announcing they were giving each other “respectful space” amid rumours the British hunk felt smothered by his girlfriend’s desire to settle down and start a family.
Katy handled the split by focusing on her career and some self-improvement, while Orlando hung out with Hollywood playboys like Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire.
Lord of the flings
“He partied nonstop, slept with a bunch of inappropriate women and got really bored, like a teen bingeing on pizza, sugar and TV,” tells one of his friends, speaking exclusively to Woman’s Day. “He ended up feeling lost and empty, and it made him realise he wanted a different kind of life.”
However, it was up to Flynn – Orlando’s six-year-old son from his three-year marriage to Aussie model Miranda Kerr – to instigate the reunion.
The friend tells us, “Flynn really missed his Aunt Katy and figured out how to call her on his dad’s phone. They had a cute conversation and Flynn eventually handed the phone to Orlando, who asked Katy if she wanted to meet up for a dog walk.
“At first Katy said no, telling him she’s moved on, but he was persistent. He said he wouldn’t give up and that it would be OK if she only wanted to be friends. But it looks like they’ve gone beyond that now!”
