WEE GEORGE’S SCHOOL DAZE

-

It’s been up to Prince William to take little Prince George to school each morning, clasping his hand while the duchess stays at home with severe morning sickness. While the adorable four-year-old seemed unfazed on his first day on September 7, his dad admitted he’s no longer so keen.

Talking to mother-of-two Louise Smith on a visit to Milton Keynes last week, the 35-year-old prince confided, “I just dropped George off and he didn’t want to go.”

“It was really exciting meeting William,” tells Louise. “He told me he’d just dropped Prince George off at school and he didn’t want to go. Sounds a bit like mine, really.”

Meanwhile, Kate is continuing to battle with hyperemesis gravidarum, the severe illness that has plagued all three of her pregnancies. Our insider says she’s been hooked up to an IV drip most days to ward off dehydration. “The last couple of weeks have been incredibly tough and she says this is the sickest she’s been yet. Kate’s been desperately trying every remedy in the book, including ginger and vitamin B6, but nothing’s working. She barely gets any respite from the vomiting.”

The source adds that Kate can’t help but feel guilty at missing George’s first month at school. “Whenever she perks up, she spends time with the children – whether it’s to do some homework with George or painting with Charlotte. They’ve even been getting into bed with Mummy for movie time!”
