Jennifer isn’t the only former Friends star with a rocky love life – her best gal pal Courteney Cox has been left devastated after being dumped by her fiancé Johnny McDaid for a second time.
“Courteney is reeling,” a close source reveals, speaking exclusively to
Woman’sDay. “Johnny decided he needed a break again and says he feels like they’ve drifted apart. Courteney is beside herself.”
The break-up comes just weeks after the actress, 53, confessed she wanted to have a child with the Snow Patrol rocker, 41. “I would love to have a baby now,” she said. “I mean, I could carry someone else’s egg. I know it’s crazy, but I would.”
Courteney and her exhusband David Arquette co-parent 13-year-old daughter Coco together, while Irishman Johnny has no children. The pair got engaged in 2014, then split briefly in 2015. It was a time that Courteney claimed later made their relationship stronger, insisting, “I definitely have learned a lot and, no matter what, I will be a better person from that break-up – even though it was so brutal.”
Now she is desperately hoping that they’ll again reunite, but pals aren’t holding their breath. Our source says, “Courteney has been hoping for a wedding and to start a family for months now, but Johnny kept putting it off. It seems he’s gone cold on her, while her feelings for him have never diminished. It’s very sad.”
