THE END OF AN ERA WEARE FAMILY!

MELISSA RIVERS S PILLS ABOUT THE FINAL EPISODE

-

After over two decades on screen, the beloved series Fashion-Police is saying goodbye. We caught up with host Melissa Rivers to talk about the show-stopper.

How do you feel about the show sho coming to a close?

It’s very v bittersweet. It wasn’t my d decision, but that being said, when whe you look back, the franchise has had a 22-year run. How could I fe feel disappointed or sad that something som that I helped create all those t years ago is still on the air? I’m so proud of the show. It’s a part of my family’s legacy.

What W has been the secret to its success?

It’s fun and it’s what you want to say in private with your friends. It’s a peek inside Hollywood and that is the best part of it.

What W can fans expect from fro the big finale?

It’s going g to be great fun to look back on everyone’s favourite memories. We also have an episode that didn’t air and has never been seen before. It was a back-up episode in case my mum was sick or couldn’t do the show for some reason and we’d forgotten all about it until now.

What do you think your mum, the late Joan Rivers, would think of the episode?

She would enjoy it, but she’d be annoyed that we were doing a finale at all!

You have a 16-year-old boy, Edgar. How do you balance your busy career with motherhood?

Medication and liquor! No, I basically just give myself a break. We mums are expected to do it all perfectly, but sometimes you’ve got to stop to catch your breath. All those e mothe mothers who look like they have ve it all together, I I’m m pre pretty y sure they y go home and cry into their pillows ows at night. At least, that’s my fantasy. asy.
