STEAL HER STYLE

-

Need some make-up inspiration for an upcoming Christmas party? Make-up artist Rani Shortland created this stunning look for Matilda for the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards. Channel the Bachelorette by recreating her luminous look at home.

STEP 1:

Start with clean, moisturised skin and apply primer to ensure the look lasts all night long. STEP 2:

Apply liquid foundation for a smooth, matte make-up look. STEP 3:

Conceal anything that requires additional coverage. Blend it out with your fingers or a make-up brush. Use loose powder to set any concealed areas of the face. STEP 4:

Using bronzer, blend a “3” shape along the hairline and jawline, and under the cheekbones. Then apply blush onto the cheekbones above the bronzer and blend. STEP 5:

Get Matilda’s signature strobe look by using highlighter – add radiance and dimension by spotlighting high points of the face. STEP 6:

Blend gold and bronze shades into the eyelid, keeping the lighter shades closer to the inner corner of the eye. STEP 7:

Keep lips simple with a swipe of nude lipstick. STEP 8:

Complete the look and ensure it stays in place using a few spritzes of setting spray across the face.
