The Kardashian clan’s worst-kept secret is a secret no more after Khloé finally confirmed her pregnancy, taking to Instagram to say it was her “greatest dream” to be having a baby with her basketball-star boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
But beneath the smiles, tension is boiling between Khloé, 33, and her sisters Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian West, who are also expecting babies in 2018.
“None of them is enjoying sharing their baby limelight at all,” a family insider tells
Woman’s Day. “Khloé is so excited about becoming a mum and now that it’s public, she plans on publicising virtually every step. But Kim is also determined not to be in anyone’s shadow, while Kylie is just trying to distance herself.”
Kim’s third baby with husband Kanye West, 40, is via a surrogate and we’re told the reality queen is struggling. The 37-year-old herself moans, “Anyone who says or thinks it’s the easy way out is just completely wrong. It’s so much harder to go through
it i this way because you’re not really in control.”
Our insider adds, “It’s been incredibly difficult for Kim not being able to carry her own child this time and watching her sister’s stomachs grow. She can’t help but feel resentment and everyone’s picking up on it.”
Meanwhile, Kylie, 20, has been barely seen since news leaked several months ago that she’s pregnant with rapper boyfriend Travis Scott, 25. And our insider suggests it’s insecurity over her blossoming baby body that’s making her live like a hermit.
“She feels huge. She’s already gained 18kg and she doesn’t want anyone to see her like this. She just can’t wait to get the baby out and is saying she never wants to be pregnant again!”
