OUR RADIANT NEW DUCHESS STEPS OUT!

Our blissful newly weds a rep rep ping the nursery!

In her first-ever official outing as the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry’s new wife looked radiant as she joined her husband at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday celebrations.

Just three days after their fairytale wedding, the newlyweds made their debut at the Buckingham Palace garden party, with Meghan dressed to perfection in a demure blush coatdress with sheer panels and matching hat.

The pair could barely contain their love for each other, with 36-year-old Meghan boldly wrapping a protective arm around Harry, 33, as they made their way into the palace, where she happily mingled with many of the 6000 invited guests.

While many brides might have opted to head off on honeymoon as soon as their wedding was over, Meghan is said to have agreed to defer plans for a luxury getaway, instead concentrating on royal duty. “Meghan was more than happy to hold off on a honeymoon,” a palace insider tells us. “In fact, she wouldn’t have wanted to miss her new father-in-law’s birthday celebrations for the world.

“Yes, she’s exhausted from the sheer magnitude of the wedding and all the drama that went with it, but at the same time, she’s on a huge high. She and Harry both are. They’ve never felt such happiness in all their lives and they say the day couldn’t have gone any better.”

And now that they’re finally married, the loved-up couple are firmly focusing on their next chapter – starting a family. While Harry has spoken before about his desire to become a dad, Meghan has also told friends that she is desperate to have at least three littlies. “I’d absolutely love to have children and I can’t wait to be a mother,” she has said.

Our insider reveals that for many months, Meghan has been seeing a top Harley Street fertility doctor in London, as well as keeping weekly appointments with highly regarded nutritionist Melanie Brown, who’s credited with helping hundreds of women fall pregnant quickly. She’s on a strict but healthy diet, with minimal alcohol, and is taking the right supplements, like folic acid, and loads of vitamins in preparation.

“One of Meghan’s primary focuses leading up to the wedding was getting her body prepared to conceive,” reports our insider. “She turns 37 in August, so she’s under no illusion that time is on her side. She and Harry certainly won’t be waiting and they’ll enlist whatever help it takes.”

In fact, the rumour mill went into overdrive at their wedding, when commentators suggested her stunning Givenchy gown could be concealing a baby bump.

“There were certainly whispers that her dress was a little loose around the middle and that it might be trying to cover up a bump,” tells our insider. “That is possibly a little premature, but it’s certainly true that the duke and duchess hope to have happy news sooner rather than later.”

Meanwhile, the couple have been preparing for their lives ahead as parents, with construction workers labouring around the clock
