Five kids and a wedding

Look Hugh just got hitched

-

It was Love LoveActually Actually for Hugh Grant as he finally tied the knot at the age of 57, marrying Swedish TV producer Anna Eberstein in a wedding registry near their London home.

The famously commitmentphobic star wore a navy suit for the low-key ceremony, while his bride, 39, the mother of three of his five kids, opted for a fitted lilac blouse and a white miniskirt.

Afterwards, Hugh also sported an unusual Celticlooking wedding ring with three red stones that drew comparisons to a comedy ring worn in FourWeddings andaFuneral. “They both looked delighted,

smiling at passers-by and laughing with the children,” says a witness. “It was clearly a lovely day for everyone who was involved.”

Hugh has previously called marriage “unromantic”, saying, “Do I think humans are meant to be in 40-yearlong faithful relationships? No, no, no!”

A source close to the actor tells “No-one thought he would ever get married. The guy prides himself on his ladies’ man reputation, so to agree to be tied down means he must love Anna very much.”

There were others in his inner circle who suspected he might end up with good

friend Elizabeth Hurley, 52, who he dated for 13 years. One of them says, “Most of his friends thought it would be Liz that he’d eventually end up with, more out of comfort and habit than anything else. He knows her well, he loves her, they’re still friends and very supportive of each other. But having all of these children must have changed something in him.”

Hugh met Anna, who gave birth to their third child in May, at a London party six years ago and we’re told it was her extreme patience that eventually won him over.

An insider alleges, “She understood Hugh wasn’t a man who wanted to be tied

down, so even after she had his children and found out he was seeing other women, she never called him out on it.

“Of course she had feelings for him, but she knew no matter what, he would look after her and their babies financially, which was very important to Anna. She could be the mum she always wanted to be and maintain her career thanks to his money.

“He’s used to women flinging themselves at him. But the one woman he genuinely enjoyed being with wasn’t one of them. In the end, it was him wanting to lock her down.” FIVE KIDS & A WEDDING
