Glittering like a Golden goddess in custom Stella McCartney, birthday girl Kylie Minogue was reunited with her former Neighbours co-stars Jason Donovan and Guy Pearce at a star-studded party in London to celebrate her 50th.
But the Aussie pop icon only had eyes for one man – her new boyfriend Paul
Solomons, 43. It was the pair’s first outing as a couple, with both Kylie and the tall, dark and ruggedly handsome creative director of men’s mag GQ posting a pashing picture from the party on Instagram.
“Kylie was glowing at the bash and much of that was clearly down to Paul, who couldn’t keep his hands off her,” a guest at the do reveals toWoman’s Day.
We’re told the party, held at celebrity hot spot Chiltern Firehouse, was a lavish extravaganza, with bespoke cocktails named after Kylie’s hits, like “I Should Be So Lucky” and “Spinning Around”, and goodie bags containing pairs of gold hot pants.
The “Stop Me From Falling” songbird also told guests she’d soon be heading Down Under to host a second party in Sydney, which would be a good excuse to introduce Paul to her native Australia.
It’s not bad for a woman who vowed to stay clear of the opposite sex after her toy boy Joshua Sasse broke her heart by ending their engagement in 2017.
“They were set up in February by mutual friends and Paul fell hard for Kylie, but she would only see him once a week for the first three months because she was so terrified of getting serious,” a close friend of the singer tells us. “But Paul convinced her he was the real deal and she has slowly let her guard down.”
