Happy news! The Bachelorette finds Her Mr Right at last
Aman has finally put a ring on it – for good, it seems! As a new US season of The Bachelorette gets underway, leading lady Becca Kufrin has already revealed she’s walked away with a new fiancé.
Although her man’s identity will remain a secret until the finale airs, the 28-year-old explains that she wanted to share the news now “since people have been with me on the journey for so long”.
That journey began on season 22 of The Bachelor US, when the Minnesotaborn beauty won the heart of Arie Luyendyk, 36, only to have him later call off their engagement and propose to 25-year-old runner-up Lauren Burnham, as millions around the globe watched on TV.
Still, Becca trusted that the process would work for her this time around. “I was really excited to find love,” she tells. “I was very decisive and I was very in tune with what I was thinking and feeling in the moment.”
And she had plenty of people supporting her, including songbird Katy Perry. When Becca made a cameo on American Idol’s finale, the judge ambushed her, asking, “Can I be in the running?”
