CHRIS’ CHAOTIC KINGDOM

The action hero enthrals movie fans, but he still has trouble impressing his son!

With his chiselled jaw, ripped physique and cheeky sense of humour, it’s no surprise that Chris Pratt is one of Hollywood’s hottest actors.

He was also one half of Tinseltown’s most adored couples until shocking fans last year with the announcement that he had split from his wife of eight years, actress Anna Faris, 41, the mother of his five-year-old son Jack.

He said at the time, “Divorce

sucks, but at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much.”

Now Chris, 38, is back in the film Jurassic World: Fallen

Kingdom and says his boy was there with him every step of the way.

“Jack came to visit me on set,” smiles Chris. “He’s fiveand-a-half now and being on set has become kind of old hat. To him, it’s just like anyone who goes with their mum or dad to work. Putting a movie together can be very slow and monotonous, so you need to try to bring your kids to set on a day when there’s a big stunt going on or a big action sequence. Otherwise it’s a bit like watching paint dry.”

Luckily, Jack was far from scared of any of the dinosaurs. His dad explains, “I showed him Jaws when he was three – which is way too young, by the way – so this is nothing to him!”

Before he became a global pin-up, Chris has previously

admitted that he was living out of a van while waiting tables. Then came his big break in the hit sitcom Parks and Recreation.

In order to play Star-Lord

in Guardian soft he Galaxy in 2014, the 1.88m-tall actor lost 28kg in six months, completely transforming his body.

Now the action man relishes being able to do his own stunts, but often ends up injuring himself mself in the process. Chris

explains, “I actually got hurt a lot making Jurassic

World. I popped my elbow out, pulled both hamstrings and did something to my heel. There were a lot of injuries, but I got through it with ice and Ibuprofen – it was all worth it. This was the closest I will ever get to being a professional athlete, which is a big deal for me!”

And the actor, who is now worth more than n $76 million, admits he still till can’t believe his luck.

“I never would have even dreamt of being famous – no way,” says Chris. “It’s a pretty rarefied space to be in, so I’m feeling pretty blessed and overcome with joy right now.

“I still keep pinching myself when I’m on set working. I’m like, ‘Don’t mess it up!’ Because I feel like I’m about to get found out at any minute.” minute.
