Introducing your new crime series obsession! Dylan (played by Alan Cumming) is a former CIA operativeturned-university professor who’s pulled back into his old life when a serial killer starts using his best-selling book as a guide. Blonde bombshell Bojana Novakovic, who plays Lizzie, is the New York detective who teams up with him to find the murderer. Before the series premiere, the Westworld actress gives us the scoop.

Who is your character, Lizzie Needham?

She’s a super-feisty homicide detective who is temperamental to say the least. She is also really curious, alert and reckless. It’s super-exciting to see a female detective who is like that.

What drew you to the role?

The first time that I read the script, when she started kicking those garbage cans, that’s when I fell in love wwith her. I was like, “This woman hhas something going on and I havhave no idea what it is, but it’s big.” I always like to do things that I feel likeike maybe I can’t do – I like thatt challenge. I was like, “I want thiss woman in my life. I want to tryry to tackle her.”

How would ld you describe the dynamic mic between Lizzie and d Dylan?

One of my favourite things about the show and their relationshipp is their chemistry isn’t sexual.l. It’s emotional, mental andd intellectual, and that’s really,y, really fun.

Why do they hey make an ideal team? eam?

They work well because they are soo different. He is the more emotionally y connected – he’s the onene that draws feelings ings out of her while she’s tryingg to deny them.. The fact they’ree so different and nd that they respect espect each other’s r’s difference makes them an interestingting couple.
