CÉLINE’S REASON TO SMILE

-

She swore she would never date again after the death of her husband in 2016, but Céline Dion’s heart goes on, with the French-Canadian chanteuse reportedly finding solace in a close friendship with Spanish dancer Pepe Muñoz.

The 50-year-old “Think Twice” singer – who lost her hubby René Angélil, 73, to cancer in 2016 – has reportedly become “extremely tight” over the past few months with Pepe, 33, who has joined her for her concerts in Auckland this week.

“Céline’s really come to lean on Pepe during tough times,” a source claims. “It’s clearar she isn’t over René’s death, andd there are times when all shee wants to do is sit and talk foror hours. There’s definitely a spark park between them.

“Despite their age gap, Pepe’s more mature than most men his age. H’ He’s sensitive i i too. H He makes k her laugh and feel alive again. They’re just taking things slowly and building on their friendship for now. Céline’s happy with that, but who knows what could happen down the line?”

Meanwhile, a bond has also blossomed between Céline and Wellington-born Oscar winner Russell Crowe, 54, who recently met the singer in a hotel and encouraged her to see Kiwi comedy film

It’s not clear whether the diva checked out the movie, but she met with its stars Jackie Van Beek (below, left) and Madeleine Sami, who were stoked to get a photo with tthe songbird at her Melbourne giggig.
