DREW FALLS FOR HER EX!

The stars are in a real-life rom-com!

-

Ina plot twist that could come straight from one of their romantic comedies, Drew Barrymore appears to have reunited with her ex-boyfriend Justin Long after almost a decade apart!

The exes – who dated on and off between 2007 and 2010 – were spied looking cosy but furtive at a hotel in New York recently, with a witness reporting, “He came in alone. They left together. It was like they were together and trying to look like they weren’t.”

And those close to the acting duo, who co-starred in rom-coms He’ s Just Not That Into You and Going the Distance, insist they’re more than friends.

“Drew and Justin never stopped caring for each other and they stayed in touch even after they broke up,” reports a mutual pal. “But one thing led to another and it turned romantic again. The buzz is that they’re back together and both very happy.”

Drew, 43, reportedly reached out to Justin, 40, after she split from her third husband, art consultant Will Kopelman, 40 – the father of her daughters Olive, five, and Frankie, four – in 2016. But the spark only returned recently, following Justin’s break-up with his girlfriend of two years, Chvrches singer Lauren Eve Mayberry, 30.

“They’d always cared about each other and kept in touch by talking and texting, but once they met up, it was like they were never apart,” a source close to Drew tells

“They just kept talking and laughing. They realised what a good time they have with each other.”

Justin had been linked to Amanda Seyfried, 32, and Kirsten Dunst, 36, after splitting from Drew, but our source says, “He realised that none of his ex-girlfriends were Drew. He wished he’d never let her go, but now he’s hoping for another chance with her. He’s met her little girls and adores them. If things had worked out differently, those could have been his kids, but he wasn’t ready for that when he was dating Drew.”

The friend adds, “The timing was off back then, but things are a lot better now. They both know what they want. For him, she was the one that got away. They’re having fun and seeing where it goes. Their friends couldn’t be happier for them – everyone always thought they’d end up back together.”
