Gwyneth’s glee

Marriage, menopause and magical sex

-

Just over a month after her magical big day, it seems Gwyneth Paltrow is still feeling that bridal bliss, finally giving fans a first peek at her and TV producer Brad Falchuk’s wonderful Hamptons wedding by sharing some sweet snaps.

“Took me a minute to get it together, but at long last, for those who have requested, a little look inside the best day of our lives,” the Oscar winner, 46, wrote on Instagram.

On her Goop website, Gwyneth added, “Perfect weather, a superlative dinner, a dance party for the ages and a dress that defies adjectives. Hours later, when the last guest went home and the last champagne flute was cleared away, the day ended as it had begun – with beauty, love and very happy people.”

On the perfectly artdirected day at the actress’ country home in Amagansett, New York, on September 29, the bride wore a delicate, backless Valentino gown with a scalloped neckline, while her groom, Glee co-creator Brad, 47, donned Tom Ford.

Among the 70 guests were Cameron Diaz, Jerry Seinfeld, Rob Lowe, Steven Spielberg and Gwyneth’s Ironman co-star

Robert Downey Jr, who gave a speech. The bride’s mum, actress Blythe Danner, reports, “It was gorgeous – the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever seen.”

Dressed in white Monique Lhuillier, Gwyneth’s daughter Apple, 14, and Brad’s girl Isabella acted as bridesmaids, while her son Moses, 12, and his boy Brody were groomsmen.

“She and Brad embrace all the children as their own,” says a family friend. “The kids are very accepting of each other and Gwyneth takes her job as a stepmom very seriously. She loves it.”

The bride changed into a white Stella McCartney jumpsuit for the reception, which was ’80s disco-themed, and a wedding feast of crab, scampi tortellini, prime rib and roast duckling was prepared by celebrity chef Mario Carbone, who was flown from Chile to cater.

After meeting on the set of Glee in 2014, Gwyneth and Brad shared one of their first dates at one of Mario’s restaurants, and a story on the Goop website says, “Having him cook for their wedding was a very special, full-circle moment.”

The newlyweds, who call themselves “the Faltrows”, enjoyed a honeymoon in Umbria and then Paris, before returning to Gwyneth’s home in Los Angeles, where they spend their days hiking, doing yoga and ferrying around their children.

“They enjoy quiet nights at home with their kids,” reports an insider. “Gwyneth cooks and they all catch up over family time.”

The star’s friend adds, “She is crazy in love with him. They have a special relationship.”

Indeed, Gwyneth y herself has spoken proudly of their “fantastic” bedroom antics, which she claims keep her healthy and youthful-looking.

“Women should have a great and satisfying sex life,” she says. y “I feel so lucky.”
