In love with her divorce lawyer

It was a mini Friends reunion as Jennifer Aniston delighted fans by bringing bestie Courteney Cox to walk the red carpet with her at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Dumplin’.

But the real excitement happened inside the theatre, away from cameras, when the actress was joined by the man she's secretly dating – one of her divorce lawyers! Speaking exclusively to

Woman'sDay, a source close to Jennifer reveals, “They've known each other a long time, so it wasn't odd that he was there. They played it cool and pretended they were only friends, but Jen really likes him.

“They're casually dating and it's just the beginning stages, so she doesn't really know where it's going, but she wants to find out. Jen's starting to feel more like herself again and she's coming around to the idea of being in a relationship.”

While our source isn't sure the unnamed lawyer is “the one” for Jennifer, the

HorribleBosses star has finally recovered after her divorce from Justin Theroux, which was announced 10 months ago. Now we're told she's set herself the goal of being in another relationship by the time she turns 50 next February.

However, after her disastrous unions with The

Leftovers star Justin, 47, and longtime love Brad Pitt, 54, she's decided she needs to date someone not in the entertainment industry. An insider tells, “Pretty much everyone Jen has been with has been an actor or musician, so she's open to stepping out with an average Joe.”

And she's being encouraged by her Hollywood friends Sandra Bullock and Amy Schumer, who have both found love outside of the A-list, with the Oscar winner, 54, smitten with children's photographer Bryan Randall, 52, and the comedienne, 37, now married and expecting a child with chef Chris Fischer, 38.

“They've been playing Cupid and trying to match up Jen with one or two people they know,” says our insider. “Jen is very excited at the prospect of playing the field and maybe finding Mr Right. She really does think her life is about to begin at age 50. Maybe she'll even become a mum.”

Indeed, last week, in a new interview, Jennifer hinted that motherhood may still lie ahead for her, declaring, “Who knows what the future holds in terms of a child and a partnership – how that child comes in or doesn't? Now with the science and miracles, we can do things at different times than we used to be able to.”

Keepingfaith

It's the clearest sign yet that the actress is considering starting a family, with another source telling us, “Jen is still thinking about making this a reality and her pals are convinced she's going to make it happen soon.

“She knows she doesn't need a man because she has such a strong support system. Jen has many close friends who have experienced surrogacy and adoption, and she's been able to lean on them for advice and encouragement.”

This includes Sandra, who adopted her son Louis when she was 51, and her

PracticalMagic co-star Nicole Kidman, who was 43 when she welcomed daughter Faith via a surrogate. But a friend of Jennifer's is convinced the actress is set to adopt – and she'll do it alone.

The pal tells us, “Men in her life have come and gone, and while she hasn't given up on love, she wants to adopt on her own. If the men in her life are going to be temporary, she doesn't want to co-parent.

“It's always been a passion of hers to have a baby. She wanted it to happen naturally. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, so she's prepared to adopt and be a single mother. This is a new chapter in her life and she's she s looking forward to it.”
