When Prince Harry first laid eyes on his future wife, now the Duchess of Sussex, the smitten royal thought he’d finally found his fairytale ending.
But as they approach their first wedding anniversary, the 34-year-old appears to be trapped in a spiralling nightmare as the woman he loves clashes with virtually everyone around them.
And with just two months until the birth of their first child – or twins as predicted – palace officials are panicked by what they see as an escalating crisis, with a miserable Harry caught right in the middle.
“Harry’s feeling increasingly torn as Meghan continues to push every possible royal boundary,” a royal insider tells
Woman’sDay. “It’s putting an immense amount of pressure not only on their marriage, but on Harry’s relationship with the rest of the family and he’s finding himself isolated from the people he was once closest to.”
From the former Suits star’s birth plan to her diva demands and excessive spending habits, palace officials are at their wits’ end over Meghan’s refusal to toe the line. Even Prince Charles has waded in on certain issues, but the duchess appears determined to shake things up.
Just last week, she wrote messages of love and hope on bananas destined for sex workers, a bold move that’s believed to have shocked the e Queen and other members of the royal family. Broadcaster r Piers Morgan even spoke out, ut, slamming the gesture as “patronising and meaningless”. ss”.

is a very strong woman and she has a very American perspective on royal traditions, which she sees as sexist and out of date. She wants to connect to people on a very real level and refuses to behave more ‘royally’ as has been requested. She says she wants to bring some fun and mischief to the role!
“But Harry has such a deep respect for the institution into which he was born and so he’s left in a very tricky position. It’s s become very difficult for him.”
And now, we can reveal that t Meghan, 37, has formed a close e bond with Harry’s aunt Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. The pair are said to have connected over their issues fitting into The Firm, but royal aides fear the controversial friendship will only inflame an already tense situation.
