Grow up, David!

Posh has two party boys on her hands

David and Victoria Beckham’s marriage has been plunged into crisis once again – and this time it’s eldest son Brooklyn who is at the centre of their feud.

The soccer superstar, 44, and his not-so-mini-me 20-year-old son have become joined at the hip recently, bonding over everything from tattoos, fast cars, partying and even women.

Sources say the fashionista disapproves of their growing connection and has slammed David for not growing up and setting a good example.

“She wants them to be close, but recently she can’t help but feel David is treating Brooklyn like a mate, not a son, and that’s worrying to her,” claims a friend of the tight-knit clan.

“They’ll stop talking when she approaches, or she’ll catch them discussing something she thinks is inappropriate, and they laugh it off like a couple of lads.”

The proud parents-of-four to Brooklyn, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and Harper, eight, have often gushed about the importance of raising respectful and polite children,

with Victoria, 45, insisting, “We are strict with the kids. You have to be,” while still allowing them to express themselves and have fun too.

But now she fears Brooklyn is turning into a party boy who likes to push the limits – and she’s blaming David.

“They’ve spent years instilling all these good values into their son and all of a sudden it’s OK for him to encourage Brooklyn to be a bad boy,” our source claims.

“It’s not on and she’s told David as much. It’s caused all manner of arguments because they suddenly can’t see eye to eye on parenting, which despite all their arguments in the past, has never happened before.”

Most recently, Victoria is said to have been raging over Brooklyn’s tumultuous and fiery romance with his now ex-girlfriend Hana Cross, and is just as angered by his womanising ways too.

He had no sooner split from Hana when he was back in the arms of his ex Lexy Panterra and partying up a storm with other girls at every given turn.

“David practically gave him a pat on the back, while Victoria was fuming,” according to our insider. “What sort of an example does that set?”

Another friend adds, “Victoria knows it’s like looking at David 20-odd years ago and that was the man that she fell for. But for some reason, she can’t help feeling that’s not a good example to set for Brooklyn. Just because it worked out for him doesn’t mean it will for Brooklyn.”
