Nearly two weeks after Justin Ju Timberlake w was snapped getting close clo to his Palmer co-star co Alisha Wainwright W in New Orleans Or – without his wedding band – the singer took to Instagram Ins in an attempt attemp to explain his behaviour behav and make amends amend with his wife Jessica Biel and their four-year-old four-y son Silas. High Highlighting that “nothin “nothing happened” with Alisha, Justin wrote, “I drank way too much that night and I re regret my behaviour. I should have known better.” But t the mea culpa may have be been too little too late, with so sources confirming the 38-y 38-year-old is struggling to save his seven-year ma marriage to Jessica, 37. “The cheating scandal has h exploded and the repercussions of Justin’s actions in New Orleans are far from over,” according to an insider. “Jessica “won’t return his texts te or calls. She’s making his life a living hell. Justin could cou lose everything. His comfortable com life has been completely shattered.” It’s not the first time the “SexyBack” singer has been embroiled in cheating rumours. In 2011, he reportedly tried to hook up with Mila Kunis, 36, but she shut him down. A year earlier, Justin made headlines for reportedly having a three-day fling with TheNewsroom’s Olivia Munn, 39, and in 2014 he was seen cuddling up to backup dancer Zenya Bashford at a Parisian club.
With no-one to blame but himself, Justin is desperate to make amends.
“He’s even promised to quit drinking,” claims the source. “While he’s tried to apologise to Jessica publicly and privately – and still continues to – it’s not enough. She’s furious.”
Once trust goes, it’s hard to get it back. “What Justin isn’t aware of is that Jessica reached out to someone she knows on the Palmer set and that person has been reporting back to her since all the drama went down,” the insider alleges.
And the New Orleans set of Justin and 30-year-old Alisha’s film is rife with tension right now.
“Justin’s got to continue to make this movie with Alisha, but their indiscretion has become the focus of everyone’s attention. It’s a distraction,” explains the showbiz contact.
What goes around comes around. Justin famously put ex-girlfriend Britney Spears through the emotional ringer when he
all but branded her a cheater with his hit 2002 song “Cry Me a River”. So he can hardly be upset, says the source, that Jessica is making his life miserable after he disrespected her.
But he’s doing all he can, including begging for couples therapy and, luckily, Jessica seems to be on the same page.
“She feels only a professional can help them communicate at this point,” the insider confides. “They clearly have some serious issues to resolve. She loves Justin, but she refuses to be humiliated like this!”
Yet even if they do seek counselling, the source claims, “They’ve got a long way to go to repair their marriage. And it still might not get fixed. They’ve never argued so much or shed so many tears. Justin’s determined to save his marriage, but it’s all in Jessica’s hands. She holds all the cards.”
