Gi igi i Hadid did and Zayn Malik looked seriously together as they steppestepped out arm-in-arm in New York City last week.

The on-again, off-again pair have been in permanent off-mode since ending their four-year relationship in 2018 – but an insider says they’re officially a couple again after “Pillowtalk” singer Zayn, 27, agreed to a string of rules laid down by supermodel Gigi, 24.

“Gigi gave Zayn the list before agreeing to reconcile,” dishes the insider. “She insisted he continued to get help for his long-term battle with anxiety – and he agreed.”

Rumours of a reunion began swirling in December when Zayn posted photos of Gigi cooking his mum’s curry recipe on social media.

And when, last week, the loved-up duo stepped out to the swanky hotspot Il Buco to celebrate Zayn’s birthday with Gigi’s sister Bella, 23, their mother Yolanda, 56, and singer Dua Lipa, 24, there was no doubt they were an item once again.

Our i insider id says f former One Direction singer Zayn – who’s made no secret of how his crippling anxiety has impacted on his life and career – was more than happy to agree to Gigi’s conditions if it meant getting another chance at love with the Vogue cover girl.

Adds the source, “Gigi blamed the breakdown of their relationship on Zayn’s social anxiety, and once told pals that Zayn would often spend weeks at a time holed up in his apartment. This time around, she wants a more ‘normal’ relationship, which he’s promised to work towards.

“She’s asked Zayn to attend a spiritual retreat to help him learn new coping skills, as well as having twice-weekly sessions with his therapist and hiring an anxiety coach to help with his crippling panic attacks.”

And if he stays true to his word, insiders say, get ready for a big announcement.

“Even during their split, Gigi has been Zayn’s rock,” says the insider, “and he’s made no secret of the fact he’s keen to propose soon.”
