“They took everyoneeveryo at the party by surprise,” sayssay the insider. “When the cacameras weren’t turned their wway, they confirmed their relatrelationship by sharing a kiss. ThenThenToTom sweetly brushed her hair backback, took her hand and they sneaksneaked off together in a waiting car.”
Tom, 57, and Algerian-Algeborn Sofia, 37, met four yearsy ago on the set of TheMummy,Mu but it wasn’t until they rreconnected at their co-star AnnaAnnabelle Wallis’ 35th birthdabirthday party in London last SeptemSeptember that sparks flew.
“Now Tom’s been going all-out to make SofiSofia part of his life,” says the ininsider.
The TopGun actactor has introduced the actractress to his children Isabella, 2727, and Connor, 25, who he shares wwith ex-wife Nicole Kidman. He has also whisked her off to Paris for a romantic getaway and gently nudged her in the direction of his Scientology religion.
“Tom’s asked Sofia to accompany him to Connor’s upcoming wedding and she is smitten,” says the source.
But not everyone around Sofia is thrilled. “Her friends are worried she will be brainwashed into Scientology,” claims the insider. “And her family is worried about the obvious age gap. They’ve urged her to seriously consider the ramifications of dating someone 20 years her senior – including the fact he most likely won’t want to have any more children.
“But Sofia’s infatuated right now. She knows it’s a big step yet she’s even talking about moving into Tom’s Beverly Hills mansion later this year.”
