There’s no denying Brad Pitt and Arrested Development actress Alia Shawkat adore each other – but they like burgers even more!
The talented twosome, who set tongues wagging when they began stepping out together last year, were spotted last week ordering takeaways at popular LA fast-food chain In-N-Out Burger.
Just a day before their burger blitz the pair were also snapped together at a concert – but a source close to the AdAstra star, 56, claims the two have decided to keep their relationship purely platonic.
“Brad and Alia are incredibly close friends,” dishes the pal. “But Alia is actually dating a writer she met on her upcoming TV show TheOldMan. And Brad values his friendship with Alia so much that they’ve both agreed they won’t complicate things with a romance.”
The source spills that 30-yearold Alia, like Brad, is sober and the pair often attend support meetings together.
“They support one another by being each other’s sober coaches,” says the source, adding that they meditate together and turn to each other in their darkest moments.
Brad has also introduced openly bisexual Alia to his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, 51.
According to our source, “Alia has also become close to Jen and has even joked that she finds her more attractive than Brad and would rather date her than him, which everyone found hilarious.
“Brad thinks Alia is one of the most beautiful people in the world,” continues the insider, “but he looks at her as more of a sister and has come to count her as one of the most important people in his life.”
