Demi has fallen back in love with her hunky ex-husband

Six weeks locked in a house with your ex-husband is the last thing most women would want, but for Demi Moore, it’s helped her have an epiphany.

Sources say the actress has fallen back in love with Bruce Willis after the former couple was thrown into quarantine in Idaho together under rather bizarre circumstances. Demi, 57, has reportedly confessed to close friends she wants to remarry the Die Hard hunk.

Much has been made of the fact that Bruce, 65, has been self-isolating with his ex and their daughters while his new wife, Emma Heming Willis, remains in Los Angeles with their two young daughters.

Meanwhile, Demi and her daughters have posted several photos of themselves with Bruce, appearing to all the world like a happy family.

BAD TIMING

“That’s exactly what they have been for six weeks now, and they’re truly having such a blast together that Demi has glimpsed what her future could have been if her and Bruce didn’t fall in love at the wrong time,” says our insider of the couple’s marriage, which ended in 2000 after 13 years together.

“She was messed up when she was younger, while they were together, and Bruce both didn’t understand and didn’t have the patience for Demi’s behaviour. He’s been so impressed at the change in her after spending real time with her. He would hate to admit this, but it feels like the old, good times between them

– only better.”

Demi, who is friends with Emma, 41, “feels bad about the situation, but ultimately she feels like he was hers first and she deserves another chance,” says our insider. “Things have bordered on flirty between Demi and Bruce, and she knows he feels something for her again too – it’s just whether he acts on it. Demi would marry him again in a heartbeat. She thinks this could be the true happiness she’s been searching for all long.”

Adding to the murky waters is why the actor is in Idaho.

Bruce and Demi’s middle daughter Scout, 28, insists it’s due to a strange situation where one of Emma’s daughters stepped on a needle.

HEALTH SCARE

“My stepmom was going to come up here, too, with my little sisters,” she says. “[But] my younger sister... [who has] never gotten a talk about not f**ing with hypodermic needles... she found [needles in a park and] she actually tried to poke her shoe with it and poked her foot. So my stepmom had to be in LA waiting to, like, get the results from taking her to the doctor, so my dad came to Idaho early, and then travel got crazy, so my stepmom stayed in LA with my little sisters.”

Says a source, “Why Bruce left Emma to deal with a kid at all sorts of risks from stepping on a syringe is anyone’s guess. He was obviously eager to be with Demi and the girls.

“Emma is trying to play it cool knowing her husband is having the time of his life cuddled up in his ex’s home, but it can’t be nice to see this all play out on social media. Even the most self-assured woman would have to be worrying about her husband falling back in love with his ex in a situation like this.”
