Over 20 years ago, Arthur discovered two boxes of handwritten sheet music that had been used by an amateur orchestra between 1872 and 1941. Fascinated by the unique markings – finger prints, ink stains, corrected errors – he spent seven years cutting out and categorising the markings, before pasting them together to create 144 new designs.
