Our redecoration costs so far are probably $14,000-$15,000. We’ve splurged on curtains, our rattan hanging chair, re-covering the couch and the peony wallpaper. We’re huge linen lovers and that doesn’t come cheap. Also the fireplace – we just had to have it as we love real fires. Ritual and ambience are critical and you can’t snuggle with your fur babies around a heat pump!
