RETREAT SPACE:

Setting up a superb, resort-style outdoor living space is great for a relaxing read in the sun or drinks with friends, and makes the ideal tranquil spot to retire to with guests after an evening’s entertaining.

NATURAL:

Choose outdoor furniture that looks at home in a natural environment. Pale rattan-look pieces with simple, handsome lines work beautifully with lush plants and natural light and look equally stylish on the lawn, deck or patio.

KEEP IT SIMPLE:

Plain charcoal, black or navy upholstery gives you the freedom to style your outdoor space in any colours or themes you choose. These shades create a strong backdrop for accent colours and look stunning against greenery.

CONTRAST:

Choose cushions and accessories in colours that contrast with or energise your surroundings to create a fun and entertaining space. Yellows and white stripes or patterns jump out from a setting and evoke carefree summer days. Mix and match patterns for added impact while keeping to a simple colour palette to create a cohesive look.

ANCHOR ME:

Tie all the elements of your outdoor living space together with a large but simple textured outdoor rug in a similar shade to your furniture. A patterned rug in complementary tones would also work in this space.

POLISH:

Little touches complete this relaxed, vacation vibe. A coordinating sun umbrella and beanbag add comfort and all-important shade, while thirst-quenching drinks and a platter of nibbles will keep everyone happy – in true resort style.
