Co-creation Hub partners iHub to boost female tech entrepreneurship in Nigeria, Kenya
THE SOCIAL IN NOVATION CEN TRE, Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) has partnered with a Kenyan counterpart to help boost the growth of female tech entrepreneurship in Nigeria and Kenya with the launch of the second edition of its “Women in Business” programme.
Announcing the partnership and the programme in a statement made available to Business A.M. on Friday, CcHub noted that the programme was put together to help boost the presence of more African women in tech entrepreneurship.
Noting that the programme will engage 15 participants pooled from Nigeria and Kenya for a six months period, Cchub said, “This cohort’s programme will feature a women-centric industry expert network from the technology sector and other relevant fields as guest expert/facilitator at monthly meetings, industry advisor that will be attached to a specific startup, and industry advisor accessible via flexible office hours.”
Commenting on the value of the programme to the entrepreneurs, Cchub noted that, “One key aspect of our programmes is connecting startups to experts in particular sectors/fields.
“They will be able to use technology to achieve a strategically differentiated business that speaks to the heart of customer needs,” the statement continued.
The statement further noted that participants will be brought up to speed on best practices in attracting investments as well as other key areas like partnerships, business expansion support, team building; and also access to a valuable network of executives, investors and developers to help participants scale their businesses.
