Schneider Electric, a digital transformation, energy management and automation company, in partnership with Juststandout Limited, GTS Professionals Limited and others, has launched new Ecommerce platforms to meet the demands of its teeming online customers.

According to Schneider Electric’s marketing and Communications Manager, Viviane Mike-eze, empowering Schneider Electric partners on E- commerce had become necessary due to the growing preference for online transactions by end-users, influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Mike-eze also noted that Schneider Electric would promote the online visibility of e-commerce partners through joint marketing actions targeted at attracting online clientele to their websites.

“Schneider Electric aims to ensure easy accessibility and identification of genuine products nationwide, giving customers’ clear visibility on its accredited online and offline distributors, with this information available on the Schneider Electric website,” Mike-eze said.

This initiative is expected to impact some tens of thousand digitally engaged customers and visitors to the Schneider Electric website and social media accounts.

“Our partners’ e- commerce platform is an avenue for customers to access the company’s products online, conveniently, but also to enjoy exclusive promotions online,” she stated.

As a global specialist in energy management and automation in more than 100 countries, Schneider Electric Nigeria is involved with at least 50 percent of buildings around the country while 70percent of solar off-grid or microgrids in the country use the company solutions.

Nigeria presents the biggest and most attractive offgrid investment opportunity in Africa; a significant amount of the country’s economy is already powered largely by small scale generators (10-15 GW) and almost 50 per cent of the population have limited or no access to the national grid.
