PFN, CPAN consoles Adeboye over Son’s death
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria ( PFN), Christian Press Association of Nigeria (CPAN) has described as tragic, the demise of Dare Adeboye, the son of Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
The PFN in a condolence message issued by its national publicity secretary, Emmah Gospel Isong, the body lamented that the news of the death of the son of the Redeemed Church’s general overseer, was shocking.
“Our heartfelt condolences to baba and mama Adeboye, and the entire members of the RCCG worldwide. May the Lord uphold them” the Fellowship prayed
The PFN further prayed that God would give the family and the church, the fortitude to bear the loss, stressing, “The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria under the leadership of Wale Oke, deeply mourn Pastor Dare Adeboye’s departure at such a tender age of 42. Let us Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving (Col. 4:2 KJV)”.
Similarly, CPAN in a statement signed by its president, Gracious Akintayo, said though his demise is sudden and very painful, not only to his revered parents, but to the Christian community world over; however, this is not the time to mourn or weep, but time to celebrate, praise and testify God’s goodness in the life well spent by Dare Adeboye.
“No doubt, Pastor Dare came, saw and conquered, he run the race diligently with fear and trembling. Also finished his assignments on earth and was called home according to the will of God his maker and creator in blaze of glory.
“It was a good report to described him as a miracle child by his own father, Pastor Adeboye and barely a year later, he miraculously transit to glory in a sleep after his last assignment on earth,” said Akintayo.
