Navy appoints new Flag Officers Commanding
The Nigerian Navy (NN) has announced the appointment of three new Flag Officers Commanding (FOCs). They are Rear Admiral Akinjide Akinrinade for the Logistics Command, Oghara, Delta State, Rear Admiral Matthew Emuekpere for the Eastern Naval Command, Calabar, Cross River State and Rear Admiral Saleh Usman, Central Naval Command, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The Navy Spokesman Captain Suleman Dahun is a statement on Friday said the appointment also affected other 27 Rear Admirals, including: Rear Admiral Begroy Ibe-Enwo, reappointed at the Naval Headquarters, Abuja as the Chief of Naval Transformation, Rear Admiral Victor Adedipe, appointed Director of Plans, Defence Headquarters, Abuja while Rear Admiral Peter Onaji, as the Chief of Naval Safety and Standard, Naval Headquarters, Abuja.
Among other appointees are Rear Admiral Dogara Albehu, Director of Training at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja, Rear Admiral Micheal Ebe, Director of Plans, Naval Headquarters, Abuja, Rear Admiral Aliyu Lawal, Director Equipment Standardization and Harmonization, Defence Headquarters, Abuja, Rear Admiral Uchenna Onyia, Director of Administration, Naval Headquarters, Abuja and Rear Admiral David Adeniran, reappointed Commander Naval Drafting, Apapa, Lagos.
The appointment also saw the redeployment of 95 Commodores to various commands, units and establishments, the statement said.
