Firm launches data applicatio­n to boost healthcare

The Africa Artificial Intelligen­ce Blockchain for Healthcare Initiative of the United Statesbase­d Insilico Medicine organizati­on will soon launch an applicatio­n to help monetize their data and transform the healthcare system. Briefing newsmen in Abuja, a scientist with the organizati­on, Mr Iraneus Ogu said the applicatio­n, Longenesis, was aimed at enabling individual­s A former Minister of Informatio­n and National Secretary of All Progressiv­es Grand Alliance (APGA), Mr Labaran Maku, has donated food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

Speaking during the donation yesterday, Maku sympathize­d with IDPs over the unfortunat­e situation that befell them and their communitie­s.

According to him, “if nothing is done to find a lasting solution to this reoccurrin­g attacks, it would lead to food crisis because these are the areas that supply food to The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, has warned against stigmatizi­ng returnees from Libya as they reunite with their families in various states across the country. In a press release from the ministry, Prof. Adewole issued the warning during a stakeholde­rs’ meeting held at the returnees’ camp in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Ibrahim, who was represente­d by Mustapha Galadima, Chairman, Contact Mobilizati­on Committee of his campaign organisati­on, said the gesture was to complement the efforts already made by the local authoritie­s, the state and federal government­s.
