The Dome to re-open

A five-star hotel, The Envoy will be commission­ed for business on March 5, 2018, according to Chinwe Odife, Developmen­t Director, Hometel Developers Limited.

Speaking to newsmen in Lagos, Odife said The Envoy Hotel is not one of the regular hotels in the country but a world class, luxury hotel being managed by internatio­nal renowned managers, the Mantis.

Nestled within the business hub on Diplomatic Drive, Abuja, Odife said the hotel sets a new precedent of urbane sophistica­tion and unrivalled luxury for the distinguis­hed traveller in Abuja.

“We have woven technologi­cal innovation into all our amenities. With world-class security, fine-dining and compliment­ary services such as valet parking, we are Abuja foremost destinatio­n for events,” she said.

The hotel’s General Manager, Keletso Nxumalo, described the The Envoy as a destinatio­n where culture, art and knowledge is shared.

She said The Envoy’s logo is modelled on the first imprinted coins that were used The Dome Entertainm­ent Centre, Abuja is set to reopen this year, following extensive renovation which has taken place in the facility.

Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, Chairman of The Dome, at a press briefing said it was necessary to go back to the drawing board and come up with new ideas which will make the one time famous spot for all things entertainm­ent, a one stop leisure destinatio­n for tourism and entertainm­ent.
