APGA urges Buhari to sack entire cabinet

- Abbas Jimoh

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has urged President MuhammaduBuhari not to reshuffle his cabinet and political appointees but to sack and replace them with fresh blood to tackle the myriad of problems facing the country.

This is as the party also sacked its Lagos State chapter executive led by Barrister KayodeAlabi for alleged anti-party activities and replaced them with a caretaker committee led by MrChibuikemIwu.

The National Chairman of the party,Dr Victor Ike Oye, who briefed newsmen yesterday in Abuja at the end of its National Working Committee (NWC) meeting, however exonerated the President from blames saying the appointees were the ones that failed.

He said the President has done well and should remain focused while also avoiding being distracted. The Founder, African Women Inspire Network (AWIN), AdannaEnwezor, has said that the organization will promote business and mentor women seeking for better direction in their lives.

Speaking yesterday at the formal launch of the network in Abuja, she said that the body was set aside to build African women in business through mentorship and nationbuilding.

She said the network will encourage business collaborations amongst African women hence it has a social media platform where women from African countries connect with each other.
