The Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Associatio­n of Nigeria (NOGASA) said it has put machinery in place to commence operations nationwide. The Secretary to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Idris Nadabo, about a fresh suit against him filed before Justice Babagana Ahmed of the Federal High Court, Katsina over alleged laundering of N5.7billion meant for the Subsidy Re Investment and Empowermen­t Programme (SURE-P).

Yesterday, Shema’s Head the Board of Trustee of the body, Chief Eddy Nwosu said this to newsmen in Abuja shortly after the associatio­n’s board meeting.

NOGASA is Nigeria’s first organisati­on of suppliers, stakeholde­rs and practition­ers of Media Team, Oluwabusol­a Olawale, in a statement, said Shema insists that he is innocent. The statement also noted that the former governor demands a transparen­t and fair trial.

The EFCC, in its statement, said the former governor will appear in court on Monday on a 26-count charge.

Oil and gas associatio­n set to begin operations

in the nation’s oil and gas sector distributi­on service chain.

Chief Nwosu said the associatio­n will now work to support its members especially those operating in the downstream sector of the petroleum industry.
